The Full Story
Anyone who knows me knows that i have a terrible memory. Yet i can remember as clear as day my 5th birthday party when my mum presented me with a cake cut to the shape of a butterfly, smothered in lashings of vanilla frosting and decorated with a rainbow of Smarties. I think I fell in love with cake in that moment.

As these stories often go, however, it wasn't a love affair that hit the ground running. I strayed a few times into other territories, working in the wedding industry and even practicing as a clinical psychologist. Working part-time gave me the chance to get involved in something just for me, and it just so happened that a community course on cake decorating was available on my off day. How serendipitous!

This is it. This is what I love. This is what gets me excited and doing happy dances when I put the final touches on a birthday cake I've spent hours creating. Now, a mum of 3 very cake loving children, I get to be the one who is responsible for creating their memories of bowl-licking fun and unforgettable cake reveals. I have captured many such moments in their short lives, and they never fail to fill my heart with joy.

The thing that's so important for me, is that i get that exact same kick when i see my customers glimpse their cake for the first time and have that wow-moment. I just love it. And I just want more and more of those moments.
